Lisa Marie Soriano

LISA MARIE SORIANO Lisa Soriano, age 49, of Key West, Florida, passed away on September 23, 2017. She was born on February 27, 1968, in Somerville, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Andrew B. Soriano and Susan Soriano. She was a 1986 graduate of Wausau East High School and attended the University of San Francisco. Lisa lived in San Francisco, California, and Vail, Colorado, before moving to Key West, Florida, where she lived and worked in the hospitality industry for almost 20 years. She loved the year-long warmth and was happy to only experience winter watching Green Bay Packer games. Lisa was physically and mentally tough which served her well in both sports and day-to-day living. Her family and friends knew her to be quick-witted and fun-loving; her community considered her a bright light among them. Everyone who came in contact with Lisa experienced her kindness, compassion and generosity. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Lisa is survived by her mother, Susan Soriano, Wausau, WI; sisters Katherine, Jersey City, NJ and Suzanne Madison, WI; brothers Brian (Carony Cheng), San Francisco, CA and Benjamin (Deborah), Riverside, IL; and her niece, April and nephew, Andy. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 11:00 am at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau, followed by burial at Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross hurricane relief fund.
