Lisa Pohlie-Strasburg

Lisa (Pohlie) Strasburg 46, Wausau passed away at her home in Wausau on Saturday, July 23, 2011. She was born November 1, 1964 to Charlene (Ress) Zychowicz and Harvey Pohlie, Milwaukee. Lisa is survived by special friend Mike Weidman, her mother Charlene Zychowicz, Poniatowski, her father, Harvey (Beverly) Pohlie, Ft. Atkinson, daughters, Angel, Amber and Amanda Bartlett, all of Wausau, brother Christopher (Joleen) Zychowicz, Poniatowski, sister Jo Wanda (Michael Mayville) Zychowicz, Wausau, step son Matthew Spindler, Stevens Point, her grandchildren, Joshua Bacon, Mitchell Sauter, Brendin Wisnewski, Gabriel Pohlie, Renata Mauro, Ethan and Olivia Spindler, Zachary Krause and many other nieces and nephews. There were many that considered Lisa their Mom, whom Lisa loved. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Zychowicz, her sister, Linda Weiler, her brother, Harvey Pohlie and her nephew Wyatt Zychowicz Lisa's pride and joys of her life were her daughters and grandchildren, and her dog Rex. She had a passion for Harley-Davidson riding, and she enjoyed going to Fuddfest with her mom, sister and niece. No matter how sick Lisa was, or how hard life seemed, she never stopped fighting, never stopped loving. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon, Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. The Rev. Robert Streveler and Deacon Leroy Knauf will preside. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Lisa's name.
