Lisa J. Hillery

Lisa J. Hillery, 53, Marathon passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 surrounded by her loving family, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born September 18, 1962 in Antigo to James and Mary Ann (Doucette) Hofmann, Antigo. On February 14, 1993 she married Parker Hillery. He survives. Lisa will be fondly remembered for her passion for cooking. Survivors include her husband, Parker Hillery, Marathon, her parents, James (Mary Ann) Hofmann, Antigo, her father-in-law, Merville J. Hillery, Darlington, her children, Tanya (Mike) Ballard, Wausau, Cory (fiancAC. Dana) Hillery, St. Paul, MN, Sara Ruth Hillery, Marathon and Austin and Tyler Hillery, Marathon and her granddaughter, Nova Jane Ballard. Lisa is further survived by her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Ruth Hillery. At Lisa's request private family services were held at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The family wishes to invite family and friends to a celebration of Lisa's life, Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lisa and Parkers home in Marathon.
