Linda E. Westberg

Linda E. Westberg 89, Wausau died Saturday, August 20, 2011 under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at North Central Health Care Center Evergreen Place, Wausau. She was born October 30, 1921 in Wausau, daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Kohnhorst) Tesch. On December 16, 1939 she married Norman Westberg at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2009. For many years Linda did housekeeping and cleaning at the former St. Mary Hospital, Wausau. Some of her favorite pastimes included gardening, attending flee markets with her husband Norman and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Linda (LeRoy) Deland, Weston, Judith (Fred) Waedt, Eau Claire, Betty (Wayne) Jensen, Ringle, Norman Jr. (Kathy) Westberg, Ringle, Sandra (Ron) Sodke, Wausau and Gary (Janeel) Westberg, Weston, 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren and one sister Lucille (Floyd) Pfantz, Wausau. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin and LeRoy Tesch, three sisters, Edna Manowski, Lydia Kroeplin and Dorothy Wimmer and her infant sister, Ella Tesch. Private family services will held at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. The Rev. Brad Hubbard will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
