Linda Amiretta (Miller) Baum

Linda A. Baum, 55, Wausau, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, August 15, 2024, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Linda was born December 7, 1968 in Harvard, IL. She was the second of three daughters to the late Harold and Veronica (Haskins) Miller. Shortly after Linda was born, the family moved to Richland Center, WI. A graduate of Richland Center High School, Linda attended UW-Richland before transferring to UW-Eau Claire where she graduated with a double major in English and Psychology. While working in Eau Claire, she met the love of her life. On August 22, 1992, she married Marti Baum in Richland Center.

After living throughout the state, Linda and Marti settled in Wausau where Linda worked as a stay-at-home mom to help raise their three children. Later, she worked at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County (UWMC) as an Administrative Assistant to the UW Colleges Senate.

Linda was an avid reader and diehard Green Bay Packers fan. She also enjoyed puzzles, family game night, baking, her morning coffee, and watching the birds outside her home.

She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Marti; three children, Emily, Alex, and Austin; two siblings, Marilu Miller and Karen (Tim) Honer; five nieces and nephews; 2 great nephews; and numerous cousins.

Private burial will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter.
