Lillian I. Ott

Lillian I. Ott 95, Wausau, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 at her home. She was born April 9, 1914 in Wausau, daughter of the late Richard and Elsie (Krueger) Steffen. On November 25, 1937, she married Arnold W. Ott in Wausau. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1970. Lillian worked at the former Pied Piper Shoe Factory, Wausau and retired from the former Wilson-Hurd Manufacturing Company, Wausau. Among her many interests, she enjoyed playing cards and reading. She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau. Survivors include, three siblings, Jerry (Pat) Steffen, Wausau, Loretta (Gordon) Wagner, Indiana and David (Audrey) Steffen, Land O' Lakes; one grandson, Brian Sr. (Linda) Brandt, Wausau; two great grandchildren, Brian Jr. (Kelly) Brandt and Andy (Ashley Schmidt) Brandt, both of Wausau; one great great granddaughter, Emma Lillian Brandt; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Ott, Scottsdale, AZ; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Arnold, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Ott; three sisters, Linda Engman, Delphine Schnelle and Delores Sebela; and two brothers, Richard and Melvin Steffen. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. David Klutterman will officiate.
