Lillian M. Klumpyan-Heinrich
96, Weston, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.
She was born October 19, 1914 in Lankin, N.D., daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Urban) Hodny. Lillian married Joseph Klumpyan Sr. in Colby and they had four boys, Joe (Etta) Klumpyan, San Antonio, Tom (Barbara) Klumpyan, Schofield, Richard (Lia) Klumpyan, Marathon and the late Fred Klumpyan. Joseph preceded her in death in 1949. On November 12, 1956, she married Vilas Heinrich who had three sons, Alan Heinrich and Gordon (Kathy) Heinrich, both of Colorado and Bernard (Bev) Heinrich, Hatley; and three daughters, Linda (Ken) Koskey, Grand Forks, Annette Boller, Appleton and the late Mary Miller.
She is further survived by 31 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; one daughter in law, Mary Klumpyan, Schofield; one son-in-law, Bill Miller, Rothschild; and two brothers, Fred (Bertha) Hodny and Tony (Florence) Hodny, both of North Dakota.
She was preceded in death by eight siblings; and son-in-law, Fred Boller.
Vilas and Lillian are charter members of St. Mark Parish, she loved the Lord and the Blessed Mother. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family, especially her many grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will preside. Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. Burial will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary Cemetery, Colby.
