Lillian L. Kautza

Lillian L. Kautza 95, Rothschild, died Friday, October 13, 2006 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. She was born October 26, 1910 in Munising, Mich., daughter of the late Herman and Emma (Hagstrom) Erickson. She married Bernard G. Kautza at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1947. Lillian was employed at Weyerhauser Corporation for over 30 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild, their Parish Council of Catholic Women and was involved in Lay Ministry to shut-in's. Among her many interests, she enjoyed knitting and playing cards. Survivors include, four children, daughter, Joan (Bill) Laut, Lac du Flambeau, grandchild, Cheryl (Jerry) Vos, great grandchildren, Nick, Amie, Mari and Claire; son, John Kautza, Madison, grandchild, Jonathon (Julie) Kautza, great grandchildren, Michael and Alex; son, Jerry (Judy) Kautza, Wausau, grandson, Jeremy; daughter, Jude Belter, Grafton, grandchildren, Holly (Wayne) Huston, great grandchildren, Joshua, Michael and Tessa, grandchild, Heath (deceased), grandchild, D.J. (Jacci) Belter, great grandchildren, Ryann and Eric; and four sisters-in-law, Monica, Maude, Catherine and Doris. Besides her parents and husband, Bernard, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ogden Erickson; and one sister, Ethyl Prieve. The funeral mass will be celebrated 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2006 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. James Hoffman will preside.
