Lillian R. Huehnerfuss
89, Wausau, died Friday, September 26, 2008 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.
She was born February 17, 1919 in Mishicot, daughter of the late Peter and Theresa (Peroutka) Hronek.
In 1940 she married Earl Jannusch who preceded her in death in 1947. In 1958 she married Irwin Heuhnerfuss who preceded her in death in 1985.
Lillian worked as a beautician and some of her hobbies included gardening, traveling to dinner theatres and visiting with her friends and family.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Kiepke (Larry Johnson), Wausau; son, Robert "Bob" (Chris) Huehnerfuss, DePere; three grandchildren, Jay (Linda) Kiepke, Naperville, Ill., Joel (Pam) Kiepke, Wausau and Julie (Rick) Jamroz, Mosinee; seven great grandchildren, Jackson and Lillian Kiepke, Kendra, Jared and Christian Kiepke, Ryan and Brandon Jamroz; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Keith; three sisters, Elsie, Agnes and Frances; three brothers, Emil, Adolph and Fred.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff at Mount View Care Center for all the care and compassion given to Lillian during her stay.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau.
