Lillian M. Buchholz, 96, Wausau, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Stone Crest in Wausau.
She was born March 8, 1930 in Rothschild, WI, daughter of the late Anton and Casimira (Olinski) Falkowski. She married Robert Buchholz in Minnesota, he preceded her in death in 2015.
Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed making Christmas cookies, reading, attending stock car races and short track races, visiting casino’s, spending time at the family cottage up North and most recently, travelling with her daughter, Renee.
Survivors include her daughter, Renee (Kevin) Malak, Wausau; and her grandson, Wesley (Allison Cross) Malak.
Besides her parents and husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Buchholz; one sister and four brothers.
Per Lillian’s request, private entombment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
