Leurelle S. Reynolds, 94, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Rennes Health and Rehab Center, Weston.
She was born August 24, 1930, in Marshfield, daughter of the late Paul and Lucile (Hanna) Steger. Leurelle graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1948 and went on to pursue a degree in Medical Technology working in hospitals in the Green Bay area. On October 22, 1956, she married Theodore “Teddy” Reynolds at St. John Catholic Church, Marshfield. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2013.
Leurelle was a dedicated homemaker who also worked part-time in the mail department at Wausau Insurance.
In addition, Leurelle was a faithful member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was deeply involved in her church community, serving as a CCD teacher for children with Special Needs. Her generosity and spirit of service were evident in her participation in parish activities, including helping with fish fries and being an active member of both the Circle of Joy and the Fatima Council.
Survivors include her children, David (Kathy) Reynolds, Philip (Lori Kramer) Reynolds and Lisa (Wayne) Reynolds-Smith; grandchildren, Bradley (Haley) Reynolds, Samantha Reynolds, Lindsey (Andrew) Shoemaker and Marissa Reynolds (Kyle Birling); great-grandchildren, Jaxson Reynolds, Layla Shoemaker, Mara Reynolds and Lucas Shoemaker; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Ted, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul, grandson, Brett “BJ” Reynolds and siblings, Denise “Pat” Lapore and Alexandra “Sandy” Zettler; her brothers-in-law, Joseph Lapore and Ted Zettler; along with father-in-law and mother-in-law Frederick and Mary (Stelzel) Reynolds.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Allan Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends may gather for the visitation to remember Leurelle beginning at 9:00 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of service.
