Lawrence "Larry" W. Roloff, 78, Wausau, died peacefully at home on Thursday, September 3, 2015 surrounded by his family, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
He was born August 23, 1937 in Wausau, son of the late Wilbert and Gladys (Blosson) Roloff. On October 20, 1956, he married Sue Sawyer in New Jersey. She preceded him in death on July 4, 2007.
He proudly served his country as a veteran of the Army Reserves. Larry and his brother, Lloyd, owned and operated Roloff Builders in Wausau for many years. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include, twin daughters, Betty Roloff, Wausau and Bonnie (Larry) Neuendank, Weston; three sons, Brian Roloff, Mosinee, Scott Roloff, Tomahawk and Todd (fiancAC.e Cindy Vachavake) Roloff, Weston; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two brothers, John (Nancy) Roloff, Mosinee and Richard (Carol) Roloff, Weston; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife, Sue, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Jim.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, with full military honors to follow at 7:00 p.m., conducted by the American Legion Montgomery Plant Post No. 10, Wausau.
