Laurence Schifelbine

Laurence Schifelbine 86, 319 N. 10th Avenue, Wausau, died Friday, July 1, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born February 21, 1919 in Wausau. On March 31, 1940, he married Anna Czerwinski in Wausau. She preceded him in death on April 17, 1975. Laurence retired from Wausau Papers in Brokaw after many years of service. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents and wife, Anna, he was preceded in death by his son, John; and siblings. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday July 5, 2005 at Grace United Church of Christ, Wausau. Rev. Jake Close will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
