Larry R. Sohrweide
64, Marathon, died Tuesday June 5, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born December 25, 1942 in Waupaca, son of Edith (Palmer) Sohrweide and the late Walter Sohrweide. On January 13, 1968, he married Sharon Pennebecker in Waupaca. She survives.
Together, Larry and his wife owned and operated Rent-A-Flash, serving all of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Among his many interests, he enjoyed fishing, boating, barbequing and kareoke. Larry and Sharon enjoyed spending time at their cottage up north in Sugar Camp and spending winters in the Florida Keys. Larry enjoyed his life with a passion.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Sohrweide, Marathon; his mother, Edith Sohrweide, Waupaca; two brothers-in-law, Al (Kristi) Pennebecker, Stevens Point and Dave Pennebecker, Waupaca; one sister-in-law, Arla Randall, Fort Atkinson; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Noon Saturday June 9, 2007 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
