Larae B. Cherney

LaRae B. Cherney 87, Wausau, died Weds. June 18, 2008 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. She was born June 29, 1920, in Leroy, Minn., daughter of the late Walter and Alma (Schuetz) Beck. Prior to her retirement, LaRae had been employed as a coder with the former Wausau Insurance Companies. Survivors include three daughters, Marcia Denzin and Linda Knoeck, both of Wausau, Tammy Cherney, Madison, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Whitt and two siblings, Virginia Riley and Roger Beck. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday June 21, 2008 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Father David Klutterman will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
