Kurt L. Habeck

Kurt L. Habeck, 59, Wausau, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born May 27, 1965 in Wausau, son of the late Trueman and Beatrice (Justesen) Habeck.

Kurt worked at Zillman's Meat Market for many years. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed NASCAR and was a Green Bay Packer fan - except for his teenage years when he was a Viking fan to irritate our Dad!  He attended and enjoyed the NHRA Nationals in Brainerd Minnesota.

He is survived by his sisters, Celeste Habeck and Lisa (Habeck) Burrows both of Manteca, CA; one Uncle, Don Habeck of Tomahawk, WI, as well as multiple cousins.

Visitation will be held at on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.  A Celebration of life will follow the visitation at Angelo's Pizzeria- 1206 6th Street, Wausau on July 27th at 5pm.
