Krista K. Pelletier

Krista K. Pelletier 45, Wausau, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 17, 1965 in Wausau, daughter of Frank and Marjorie (Mueller) Stachoviak. On August 8, 1992 she married Gary Pelletier at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He survives. Krista worked as a waitress for several restaurants including the Wagon Wheel and then at Marathon Electric while she was going through nursing school. After graduating she worked at the former Wausau Hospital and later at Marshfield Clinic as a registered nurse. Some of her hobbies included going to the beach, camping, cooking and dancing. She especially loved life and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Gary, Wausau; children, Nicholas and Katrina Pelletier, both of Wausau; step-children, Ryan Herrick and Michelle Pelletier, both of Wausau; parents, Frank and Marjorie Stachoviak, Wausau; grandmother, Irene Mueller, Wausau; siblings, Mitchell (Jane) Stachoviak, Wausau and Lisa Stachoviak, Madison, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Stachoviak. Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2011 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
