Klaus D. Neumann

Klaus D. Neumann, 90, of Kronenwetter, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Cedar Creek Manor under the care of Compassus Hospice.

He was born on September 4, 1934 in Kiel, Germany to the late Anni and Kurt Neumann.  Klaus married MaryAnn Niedzwiedz-Manijak in Conover, Wisconsin, on September 4, 1990 and she preceded him in death in 2019.  Klaus was trained as chef in Passau, Germany.  During his career as a chef, he worked at restaurants in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Florida as well as owned businesses in Illinois and Wisconsin.  International cuisine came easy for Klaus with experience as the chef on ocean cruise liners and international trains across Europe.  When not cooking for friends and family, Klaus enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making wine.

Survivors include his daughters, Marion (Dwight) Holt, Sabine Neumann, Rosie Beeber, and Monica (Nick) Ellis; and grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, MaryAnn; and daughter, Jacqueline Neumann.
