Kim David Younger

Kim David Younger 51, Mosinee, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. He was born July 16, 1956 in Milwaukee, son of the late Alois and Arlene (Walloch) Younger. On September 30, 2000, he married Shirley Hartkopf at Our Saviors Polish National Church, Mosinee. She survives. Kim had been a member of the Wausau Emergency Police and Marathon County REACT. Among his many interests, he enjoyed watching movies and bowling and was involved in Wausau area bowling leagues. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Younger, Mosinee; one daughter, Stephanie (Rich) Kohls, Wausau; one grandson, Alex Kohls; three step-children, Nicole (Jeff Hughes) Hawley, Missouri, Matthew Hawley, Mosinee and Brandon Hawley, Mosinee; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Glenn Younger, Rothschild; one step-sister, Pamela Hartkopf, Rothschild and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Gerald Hartkopf. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2008 at Our Saviors Polish National Church, Mosinee. Rev. Marion Talaga will officiate. Burial will be in Milladore. Friends may call Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
