Kim Wayne Stickler

October 14, 1966 — February 9, 2010

Kim Wayne Stickler, 43, Wausau, was invited to leave his home and board the bus to heaven Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010. Kim served in the U.S. Army. He worked various occupations throughout his life; most recently he was employed at Trig's in Wausau. Survivors include his mother, Paula "Sis" Stickler, Merrill; father, Gary "Rusty" (Patti) Stickler, Pine River; brothers, Jason (Holly Hassel) Homerding, Wausau; Michael Stickler, Kenosha; Christopher Stickler, Kenosha; sisters, Stephanie Branden, Salem; Tricia (Roger) Rybacki, Seymour; best friend, Sarah Davies, Wausau; aunts and uncles Diane Pichelman, Merrill; Dale Heinz, Merrill; Burl "Stub"(Gail) Scantlin, Merrill; Robbin (Shirley) Pichelman, Merrill; nieces and nephews; a slew of cousins and extended family; and a plethora of friends made over the years. A good guy and great friend, Kim was truly one of a kind. He enjoyed many of life's simple pleasures, such as a smoke (or two) along with a good cup of coffee(or two) either by himself or hanging out with friends. A fan of 80's and other music, he was seldom without his headphones in tow. He also had a hearty sense of humor, always able to find something to have a laugh about. He was a true friend of animals, with a particular fondness toward birds. In recent years, he attended the Community Corner Clubhouse in Wausau, where many good friends and memories were made. He will be dearly missed by all who've known him. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Universalist Unitarian Church, 504 Grant Street, Wausau. The Rev. Paul Beckel will officiate. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
