Kenneth "Kenny" Schultz

Kenneth "Kenny" E. Schultz, 86, Schofield, died Thursday July 10, 2014 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Care Partners. He was born November 14, 1927 in Milwaukee, son of the late Walter and Ella (Rau) Schultz. On February 26, 1949 he married Isabelle Ohde at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wausau. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2011. Kenny was a production worker at Pied Piper in Wausau for many years, and also did production work at Green Bay Packaging. Later, Kenny did landscaping at Bartels and gardening at Channel 7 in Wausau. Kenny loved polka music and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He served our country with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. Survivors include his children, Sharon (Thomas) Wojtasiak, Birnamwood and Darwin (Karen) Schultz, Schofield; four grandchildren, Brenda Thomas, Schofield, Amy (Colin) Anderson, Minneapolis, Jacalyn (Andrew) Norlien, Golden Valley, MN, Heather (Jason) Slagoski, Hatley; 2 great-grandchildren, Tenley and Lochlan; brother Don (Mary) Schultz, Wausau, and sister Jane Gvora, Lafayette, IN. Besides his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Gary Schultz will officiate. Friends may call Friday, July 11, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St. Wausau, and again Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
