Kenneth E. Schmidt

Kenneth E. Schmidt, 34, Bowler, died Friday, April 2, 2004 at his home. He was born April 2, 1970 in Wausau son of Kenneth (Butch) and Diane (Peters) Schmidt, Wausau. On December 16, 2000 he married Jennifer Smail in Wausau. She survives. Kenneth was a welder for the Steamfitters Union Local No. 434. He enjoyed hunting, especially ducks, and fishing. Survivors include his wife Jennifer Schmidt, Wausau; two sons, Austin Schmidt, Wausau and Tanner Schmidt, Shawano; his parents, Kenneth (Butch) and Diane Schmidt, Wausau; one brother, Shane (Cory) Schmidt, two sisters, Lisa (Don) Sherfinski and Debbie Krautkramer, all of Wausau; his paternal grandparents, Kenneth Sr. and Maryann Schmidt, Wausau; his mother and father in-law, Don and Dwala Smail, Wausau; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Jean Peters. Funeral services will 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Mission Evangelical Cemetery, town of Texas. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
