Kenneth G. Burger

September 5, 1961 — January 2, 2014

Kenneth "Ken" G. Burger, 52, Wausau died Thursday, January 2, 2014. He was born September 5, 1961 in Wausau, son of the late Franklin and Helen (Tarr) Burger. Ken was the owner of Burger Taxidermy in Wausau for many years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and trapper. Ken enjoyed bird watching, camping and attending hard rock concerts but was also a true Packers fan and was a talented artist as well. Survivors include his siblings, Frank Burger, Madison, Clifford (Karen) Burger, Las Vegas and Janet (Tim) Firkus, Lac du Flambeau. Ken is further survived by a niece, nephews and cousins and a special friend, Bob (Gretchen) Karlen, Sussex. At Ken's request a private family service will be held at a later date. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com If I should die and leave you here a while, be not like others sore undone, who keep long vigil by the silent dust. For my sake turn again to life and smile, nerving thy heart and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine. Complete these dear unfinished tasks of mine and I perchance may therein comfort you.
