Keith W. Kurth

Keith W. Kurth, 56, Wausau, died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born July 31, 1960 in Wausau, son of the Marion (Steinke) Kurth and the late Gene Kurth. On October 9, 1993, he married Dawn Schubring at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and golfing. He also liked to play cribbage, pool, Yahtzee and was an avid sports fan cheering on the Packers and Brewers. Above all he cherished time spent with his family and close friends. Survivors include his wife, Dawn Kurth; children, Valerie Schubring, Kristopher Kurth and Vanessa Kurth; grandchildren, Payton Lou Kurth, Kristopher Kurth Jr., Bailey Kurth and Maximus Loveless; his mother, Marion "Bea" Kurth; sister, Diane (Doug) Neely; and his dog, Chanel Kurth. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Kurth. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau.
