Kathryn Marie Romang

Kathryn M. Romang 94, Athens died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Colonial Center, Colby. She was born February 6, 1913 in Athens, daughter of the late Adam and Edith (Wood) Young. On June 1, 1938, she married Edward Romang in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1989. Survivors include, one brother, Eugene Young, Amarillo, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and relatives. Besides her parents and husband, Edward, she was preceded in death her daughter, June; one brother, Ralph Young; and three sisters, Buelah Harder, Ruth Wilhelm and Marjorie Bohner. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Christ United Church, Athens. Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate.
