Kathryn Meshak, 51, 1067 Meehan Dr., Plover, died Saturday September 14, 2002 at her home under the care of hospice and her family after an eight year battle with MS and ovarian cancer.
She was born September 18, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Aloysius and Helen (Kopaczewski) Mrozek. On September 11, 1971 she married Jerome Meshak at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stevens Point. He survives.
Kathryn began her career at Copp's and later worked for the Wisconsin Retail Hardware Association in data entry. Later, she was employed as a Customer Service Representative for the Wisconsin Central Railroad. She was co-founder and co-owner of Spruce Lane Evergreens, Plover, and this was her joy and passion. She was a member of the MS Society.
Survivors include her husband, Jerome Meshak, Plover, two sons, Kristopher Meshak, Plover, and Timothy (Kari) Meshak, Wisconsin Rapids, a granddaughter, Kamilla, Wisconsin Rapids, two sisters, JoAnn (Lloyd)Laszkiewicz, Margaret Mrozek, all of Chicago, Illinois and a brother, Tom Mrozek, North Carolina, three brothers-in-law, Donald Meshak, Myron Meshak and James (Pamela) Meshak, all of Stevens Point, two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Kluck and Judy (James) Somers, all of Stevens Point.
Private family services will be held.
