Kathleen A. Lotharius

Kathleen A. Lotharius 60, 314 Park Ave., Wausau, died Monday December 1, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born September 21, 1943 in Wausau, daughter of Helen (Kralcik) Potts, Wausau and the late Alfred Potts. On December 31, 1960 she married John Lotharius at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. He survives. For several years, Kathleen and her husband John owned and operated Lakeside Roller Rink, Rothschild. Later, she was employed with the Marathon County Sheriff's Department and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, computers, geneology and several different types of craftwork. Kathleen was a member of the Rosary Confraternity and the Parish Council of Catholic Women at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Survivors include her husband, John Lotharius, Wausau, her mother, Helen Potts, Wausau, eight children, Frank (Emmy) Lotharius, Schofield; Veronica (Chris Smith) Lotharius, Ringle; Michael (Deborah) Lotharius, Merrill; Jacqueline (Derwin) Heil, Kronenwetter, Maria (Hans) Yeskes, Schofield, Christine (Mike) Nevienski, Eland, Kathleen J.(Jeff) Prins, Rothschild, Nicole (Nathan) Fehlhaber, Edgar; 24 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one brother, Larry (Marianne) Potts, Tomahawk; two nephews and one niece. She was preceded in death by her father and a granddaughter, Danielle. The Funeral Mass will be celbrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2003 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Thursdau from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Sixth Street funeral home.
