Kathleen M. Jaecks

Kathleen M. Jaecks, 86, Wausau passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born July 8, 1939 in Wausau, daughter of the late Frederick and Verona (Wachholz) Jaecks. Kathleen graduated from Wausau High School in 1957.

Kathleen had a long working career with the Wausau Medical Center as an insurance claims specialist. She was also a lifelong member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Wausau where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Kathleen loved her sisters and their children and loved spending time with them all.

Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth (Ron) Kordus, Weston and a brother Richard “Dick” (Sue) Jaecks, Woodstock, GA as well as numerous nieces, a nephew, great nieces and a great nephew and a great great nephew.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Grace (Gordon) Berg.

DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS KATHLEEN'S FUNERAL HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2026, at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. Karoline Schwantes will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be held on FRIDAY, MARCH 20th, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
