Kathleen M. Eiden

Kathleen M. Eiden, 77, Wausau died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Hospice House, Wausau. She was born October 21, 1936, in Stevens Point, daughter of the late Anton and Stella (Wrycza) Jablonski. On November 3, 1956 she married Maurice Eiden at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stevens Point. He survives. Kathleen was the executive housekeeper at the former Howard Johnson Hotel in Wausau for many years. She also did housekeeping at the former St. Mary's Hospital and the Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Kathleen enjoyed doing volunteer work, baking and picking berries. She will be fondly remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She always put everyone first before herself. Survivors include her husband, Maurice Eiden, Wausau, her two sons, David (Carolyn) Eiden, Sheboygan and Christopher (Beth) Eiden, Kronenwetter, four grandchildren, Thomas, Emma, Melissa and Luke Eiden and one brother, Anthony (Carol) Jablonski, Stevens Point. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Susan, Jean Ann, Dorothy, Victor, Richard and one half-brother, Lawrence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
