Katherine U. Dornstreich 84, Wausau, died Thursday, January 23, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Katherine was a cook in the Wausau area until the time of her retirement. Survivors include two sisters, Agnes Siewert and Evelyn (Marlyn) Bartsch both of Wausau; one brother, Joe Mertes, Wausau. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the 6th St. funeral home.
