Karl L. Schoessow

Karl L. Schoessow 64, 130 Grace Street, Schofield, died Saturday January 1, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born April 17, 1940 in Marion, son of the late Charles and Ester(Maldewin) Schoessow. On August 4, 1984 he married Sally Ann Fosbender-James in Little Chicago. She survives. He was a veteran of the Korean and Viet Nam Wars serving in the Army for 21 years. Later, he was employed at the former Weisenberger Saw Mill. Karl was a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Burns Post No. 388, Wausau. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Sally Ann Schoessow, Schofield, his children, Karen (Martin) Sutter, Belton, Tex., Sharon (George) Gibson, Rogers, Tex., Karl Schoessow Jr., Harker Heights, Tex., Alan (Donna) James, Ringle, Arllein (Sandy) James and Shirley (Terry) Tabaka, all of Rib Mountain, 11 grandchildren, Anthony Tschetter, David Sutter, Traci-Ann Gibson, Shawn Stafford, Shyenne Stafford, Toni Tabaka, Conan James, Brandon James, Terry Tabaka Jr., Tracee James, Aaron James, six great-grandchildren, Heather Rothmeyer, Meghan Rothmeyer, Trevor Rothmeyer, Austin James, Cassandra James, Kathryn Walsh and one brother, Vernon (Lucinda) Schoessow, Merrill. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Schoessow and a sister, Elaine Schoessow. Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Weds. January 5, 2005 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call on Weds. From 4 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
