Karl W. Lehrmann, 62, of Wausau, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born on March 7, 1962, in Wausau, to the late Ewald and Leona (Becker) Lehrmann. Karl graduated in 1980 from Edgar High School. He worked as a production operator at Oldcastle. Karl also enjoyed working on the baseball diamonds at the Kelly Club in Weston and at State Park Speedway. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing Cribbage, watching the Green Bay Packers, and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his siblings, Anna Anderson, Helen (Philip) Bickley, Dale Lehrmann, Dawn Wodalski, Karen Lehrmann, and Lynette (Randy) Lehman; nephews and nieces, Carl (April) Anderson, Michael Anderson, Lori (Matt) Bishop, Jennifer (Mike) Morien, Christopher Lehrmann, Kimberlie Lehrmann, Nicole (Tony) Marble, Michael (Chelse) Wodalski, and Ben Lehman; great-nieces, Alexis Anderson and Lily Bishop; and great-nephews, Hunter Bishop, Chase Anderson, Eli Marble, Silas Marble, Camden Wodalski, and Lennox Wodalski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewald and Leona; brother, James Conant; great-nephew, John Bishop; and brothers-in-law, Ed Wodalski and Robert Anderson.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, with Rev. Rich Block officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at the Kelly Club, 4810 Ross Avenue, Weston, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
