Karen K. Warosh

Karen K. Warosh 53, Schofield, died Monday, October 10, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born June 27, 1952 in Wausau, daughter of James and Dorothy (Valiska) Krause, Schofield. Karen had been employed at Wausau Bone & Joint Clinic and at Old Castle Glass. She served as treasurer for the Friends of Everest Baseball and enjoyed bowling & swimming. She will live on through the sight provided to others in the donation of her corneas. Survivors include two children, Megan Warosh, Land O' Lakes and Matthew Warosh, Menomonie; parents, James & Dorothy Krause; Siblings, Sheryl (Douglas) Kazda, Schofield and their children, Amy (Steve) Martin, Christopher Kazda and Curt Kazda; Lisa Krause, Schofield; special great niece, Grace Lynn Martin; aunts, uncles, cousins and special companion, Cheyenne. She was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Krause and one sister, Lori Lynn Krause. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2005 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Janusz Kowalski will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Breast Cancer Research or her children's education fund c/o the family. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements. God saw she was getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around her And whispered, "Come with Me". With tearful eyes We watched her suffer And saw her fade away, Although we loved her dearly We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
