Karen M. Hitz

Karen M. Hitz, age 53, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Ministry St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. She was born May 21, 1960 in Wausau, daughter of the late Donald and DeLoris (Fischer) Fremming. On May 17, 1986 she married Paul Hitz in Wausau. He survives. Karen enjoyed playing BINGO, playing cards, fishing and thrift shopping. She was a beautiful person who loved laughing and cherished time spent with her family. Survivors include her husband, Paul, Wausau; three siblings, Linda (Al) Schuster, Rothschild, Patsy Mais, Wausau, and Michael (Lynn) Fremming, Wausau; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James "Tuna" Fremming. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Christian Assembly Church, Wausau. Rev. Dennis Romine will officiate. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
