Karen L. Buttke

Karen L. Buttke, 85, died May 30, 2024 under the care of Compassus Hospice at Pride TLC Therapy & Living Campus, Weston.

She was born April 3, 1939, in Wausau, daughter of the late Gilbert and Edna (Kummerow) Schroeder.  On December 3, 1960, she married Allen Buttke at Westley United Methodist Church, Wausau.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Buttke; children, Scott (Mary) Buttke, Kristen (Phillip) Nowak, Clark (Cheryl) Buttke and Lee (Tamara) Buttke; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 232220 N. 120th Ave, town of Stettin.  Rev. William Ostrem will officiate.  Burial will be in Stettin Christian Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service all at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, town of Stettin.
