Julia Fons

Julia Fons 92, formerly of the town of Cassel, died Monday, February 23, 2009 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. Julia was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Jo Ann (Arnie Soczka) Gavitt, Marathon, Joseph (Shirley) Fons Jr., John (Dottie) Fons, both of Wausau and Jerome (Joanne) Fons, Tomahawk, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
