Josephine V. Wadzinski

Josephine V. Wadzinski 88, formerly of East Bridge Street, Wausau, died Sunday, December 25, 2005 at Wausau Manor Nursing Home. She was born September 9, 1917 in Poniatowski, daughter of the late Michael and Stella (Stanke) Wisnewski. One March 3, 1943, she married Harry Wadzinski at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2001. Josephine was a homemaker. She was a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women and the Rosary Confraternity at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Survivors include two sons, James (Susan) Wadzinski, Wausau and Thomas (Denise) Wadzinski, Normal, Ill.; five grandchildren; five sisters, Eleanore Booker, Madison, Margaret "Marge" (Lester) Haaker, Redwing, Minn., Lillian Wojciechowski, Wausau, Sylvia Jarog, Ill., and Theresa (Donald) Green, Madison; two brothers, Frank Wisnewski, Poniatowski and Raymond (Lucille) Wisnewski, Wausau. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Wisnewski and one brother, Alex Wisnewski. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 Thursday, December 29, 2005 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
