Josephine V. Radtke-Hrobsky

Josephine V. Radtke-Hrobsky 94, Wausau died Saturday, March 20, 2010 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Hospice House. She was born July 22, 1915 in Necedah, daughter of the late Albert and Angeline (Briggs) Trybula. On December 20, 1937 she married George Radtke in Schofield. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1958. She then married Herman Hrobsky on July 4, 1964 in Schofield. He also preceded her in death on June 16, 1990. Josephine was a homemaker. Some of her favorite pastimes included talking with friends, reading, walking and playing Bingo but most of all she enjoyed watching America's Funniest Home Videos. Survivors include her two daughters, Sharon Kramer-Yirkovsky, Weston and Georgia (Russell) Gilbertson, Wausau, one sister, Alberta, Dottie, Egtvedt, Arbor Vitae, one grandson, Rod Kramer, three great grandchildren, Brad, Ben and Amber Kramer, one stepson, Daniel (Pat) Hrobsky, five step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren and five step great great grandchildren and one daughter-in-law, Barbara Radtke. Besides her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by two sons Douglas and Maurice, one step grandson and four brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Larry Treece will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
