Josephine F. Malzahn
96, Wausau, died Monday, August 11, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born May 19, 1912 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late John and Eva (Survielle) Hoffman. On November 21, 1933, she married Raymond Malzahn in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Josephine was a member of The Church of St. Anne, Wausau and a member of the Catholic Women. Among her many interests, she enjoyed cooking, knitting and especially spending time with her family.
Survivors include, one daughter, Dolores Louise (Dr. Jack) Stacker, Wausau; three grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Stacker, Hillsborough, N.C., Susan (James) Kim, Wausau and Gregory John (Mary Ellen) Stacker, Wausau; and three great grandchildren, Jack and Lauren Stacker and Caroline Kim.
Besides her parents and husband, Raymond, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph Hoffman.
Private family services will be held at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
