Joseph A. Zoborowski
93, Wausau, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston.
He was born January 1, 1914 in Polonia, son of the late Frank and Helen (Yach) Zoborowski. On March 5, 1935 he married Mamie Pozorski at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. She survives.
Joseph worked as a wet room operator for Wausau Paper Mill. Some of his hobbies included annual hunting trips to Bayfield, fishing, and watching his favorite televised sports, boxing, baseball and Nascar.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie, Wausau; son, Myron "Mike" (Marge) Zoborowski, Weston; brother, Frank Zoborowski, Wausau; sister, Irene McLendon, Daytona, Fla.; five grandchildren, Randy Zoborowski, Richard Zoborowski, Joan Roloff, Joe Zoborowski and Jean Lois; nine great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Ernie, sister, Evelyn and brother, Nick.
The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. Joseph Kleinheinz will officiate. Entombment will be in Holy Angels Mausoleum, St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
