Joseph H. Hantz
81, 2076 Hwy. J, Schofield, paased away August 13, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born July 2, 1924 in Wausau, son of the late Joseph and Stella Hantz. He enjoyed shooting trap, woodworking, gardening and spending time with his best friend Ele and all of their children.
Survivors include his partner and best friend, Ele Kline, Schofield, his sister, Loraine Roble, Wausau, children, John (Jane) Hantz, Kauai, Hawaii, Dave (Jen) Hantz, Madison, Sheri (David Verhagen) Brandl, DePere, Patti Anderson, St. Petersburg, Fla., Cindy (Doug) Johnson, Tacoma, Wash., Karen (Rick) Bergemann, Verona, Kathy (David) Verga, Tomahawk, Peg (Dan) Fowler, Georgetown, Tex., Dale Kline, Hatley, Donna (Tom) Tekippe, Mosinee, Diane Kline, Hatley, Dan Kline, Watersmeet, Mich., Doug (Michelle) Kline, Mosinee, Dennis Kline, Mosinee, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a foster son, Peter Van Beek.
Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, Gary, his sister, Dolores Prinz and son, Dick Kline.
A memorial visitation will be Tues. August 16, 2005 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. A celebration of his life will follow at 2076 Hwy. J, Schofield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, Wis., 54403. All proceeds will be donated to Aspirus Comfort care and Hospice Services.
