Joseph A. Budleski
86, Hatley, died Tuesday July 22, 2008 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
He was born August 14, 1921 in Hatley, son of the late Stanley and Stella (Trzeskowski) Budleski. On October 28, 1944, he married Irene Wendler-Letarski in Hatley. She survives.
Prior to his retirement, Joe had been a dairy farmer and logger in the town of Reid and also raised ginseng. He was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, their Holy Name Society and was also a member of the National Turkey Federation. Among his favorite things to do were hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Budleski, Hatley, his children, Stanley (Connie) Budleski, Weston, Rodale (Brenda) Budleski and Darlene (LaVerne) Stoltz, all of Hatley, Alan (Judy) Budleski, Lake Geneva, nine grandchildren, Mary (Joey) Ninnemann, Kelly (Paul) Spaay, Eric (Nikki) Budleski, Luke (Carie) Budleski, Peggy Stoltz, Paula (John) Smagacz, Ariel, Bryce and Shanell Budleski, ten great grandchildren and one sister, Susan Burger, Schofield.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edmund Budleski and two sisters, Emily Zoromski and Ann Zoromski.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday July 26, 2008 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Rev. Jerzy Rebacz will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
