John A. Waldron

John A. Waldron 52, Edgar, died unexpectedly Sunday November 19, 2006. He was born October 28, 1954, in Appleton, son of the late Jonathon and Arline (Bringer) Waldron. On March 18, 1978, he married Jill Andres at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. She survives. John was an administrator in the Wausau School District since 2000, first serving as the District's Coordinator of Psychological Services during the 2000-2001 school year. He was named the Director of Pupil Services and Special Education in July 2001. From 1981 to June 2000, John served as a School Psychologist and Pupil Services Staff Coordinator for Marathon County Special Education. John Waldron was certified as a School Psychologist and held a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. He also held a Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. John was an incredible supporter of high school athletics, especially all types of activities in the Edgar School District. He enjoyed outdoors sports and had a passion for golf. Survivors include his wife, Jill Waldron, Edgar, two sons, Jaime Waldron, Milwaukee, Jesse Waldron, Madison, a daughter, Jory Waldron, Winona, Minn., a brother, Pete (Alison) Waldron, Madison, three sisters, Priscilla (Larry) Losselyong, Menasha, Judy (Paul) Salmon, Appleton, Jane Waldron, Verona, mother and father-in-law, Ruth and James Andres, Marshfield, two sisters-in-law, Jackie Andres, Marshfield and Jodie (Steve) Krah, Rice Lake, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and his special buddy, Jackson. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. Weds. November 22, 2006, at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Weds. from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.
