John Thao

John Thao, 32, Wausau, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Wausau. He was born April 6, 1980 in Denver, Colo., the son of Gaxue Thao and Blhai Lo Thao of Wausau. In the summer of 2011, he married Choua Lor in Wausau. John was currently employed with Award Hardwood Floors LLP, Wausau. Survivors include, his wife, Choua Lor; his son, Ashton Thao; his parents; four brothers, Va (Panyia) Thao, Meng Thao, Michael (Pana) Thao and Ching (Shor) Thao; and three sisters, Mayko (Ker) Yang, May Kou (Wanger) Xiong and Tonglee (Yang Dao) Vang. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the church and again on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.
