John B. Mcdonald

John B. McDonald, 89, died October 11,2024 at his home.

He was born November 4, 1934, in Wausau, son of the late Bernard and Leona (Saettler) McDonald.  In 1959, he married Ann Bauman in Dubuque, Iowa.

In 1952, John graduated from Wausau High School and entered the Marine Corps.  After leaving the service he attended the University of Wisconsin School of Business graduating in 1960.  He worked as an Industrial Engineer for many companies in the food industry.  After retirement in 2000 he moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to his son and family.

Survivors include his wife, Ann McDonald; son, Tom (Sue) McDonald; granddaughters, Allison (Mark) Hugus, Anna (Scott) Frey and Caroline McDonald; great-grandchildren, Louis and Finley; sister, Ann (George) Graunke; sister-in-law, Marlys McDonald; brother-in-law, Roger Eisenman.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Pat and Tom McDonald.

Private family services will be held.
