John A. Hamell Jr

John A. Hamell Jr., 80, Ringle died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. He was born February 19, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of the late John A. and Mary (Kempka) Hamell Sr. On December 13, 1957 he married Sharon Hidde in Milwaukee. She survives. Prior to his retirement and moving to Ringle John was an attorney in Milwaukee for many years. Survivors include his wife Sharon Hamell, Ringle, his children, Kristin Mungovan, Milwaukee, Elizabeth (David) Willis, Cedarburg, John (Meg) Hamell III, Waukesha and Paul Hamell, Lake Geneva, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides his parents John was preceded in death by his son-in-law, William Mungovan. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Oratory, Wausau. The Rev. Aaron Huberfeld will preside. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Milwaukee. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
