John "Hunts" H. Frahm, 95, of Wausau died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
John was born October 19, 1919 in the Town of Bern, WI, son of the late George and Anna (Klien) Frahm
Growing up in rural Wisconsin and being part of a large family John worked hard as a youth and acquired many skills which he put to good use as a do-it-yourselfer. He enlisted in the United States Army and served in combat during World War II as a Technical Sargent. Shortly after his honorable discharge he moved to Milwaukee and worked as a carpenter before forming his own residential construction company. As an avid hunter and fisherman he truly enjoyed being outdoors. He also enjoyed watching professional sports and taking trips with relatives. Later in life he liked going to the casinos hoping for a win and to be among other people.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Florence "Weiland", children Sharon (Jim) Sorensen, Milwaukee, Ronald (Veronica) Frahm, Mukwonago, Sandy (Joe) Frahm, Santa Cruz CA; two grandchildren Michael and Paul Dejewski; six great grandchildren Zachery, Cody, Caitlin, Charles, Grant and Decan; also his brother Ruben "Duke" (Myrna) Frahm, Ringle and other family and friends.
Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by brothers: Arthur, George "Ki" , Orville "Toots", Harold "Bip", LeRoy "Bobby", Leonard "Bups" and Marvin "Sons"; sisters, Florabell "Honey" and Dorothy "Ditty"
