Joanne K. Schubring

JoAnne K. Schubring, age 64, Rothschild, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at her home. She was born July 3, 1949 in Wausau, daughter of the late Harold and Alice Kriewald. On August 14, 1971 she married Harlan Schubring at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. He survives. JoAnne was an incredible friend, wife, mom and grandmother. She was a homemaker, a fantastic cook, and a caring, loving person who was always helping others. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, summertime rides in the car or on the motorcycle, playing with her cat, spending time "up north" and fishing. She was also very crafty and had an amazing talent for decorating. JoAnne always gave far more than she ever expected in return. The family asks that everyone make the time to help someone else each day - even with a little hug or a smile - as we try to follow her great example. Survivors include her husband, Harlan, Rothschild; son, Jason (Nicole) Schubring, DePere; two grandsons, Grant and Emmett Schubring, at home, and many other brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lauri Jo. Memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. Rev. Raymond Connor will officiate. Friends may call Monday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services all at the church.
