Joan Regan 70, Oak Lawn, Ill., died quietly on Thursday, September 25, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at the home of her sister in Wausau, Wisconsin. She was born March 1, 1933 in Merrill, daughter of Harry and Ruby (Genke) Paul. Joan married George Regan in Chicago in 1970. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1992. Besides her parents and husband, Joan was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jodi Davis. Joan was a homemaker as well as an outdoor enthusiast. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Most cherished memories were fishing trips to Canada. The ashes of Joan, George and Jodi will be dispersed where happy memories abound. Survivors include two sisters, Marjorie (Ray) Beaudoin, Addison, Ill., Donna Srb, Wausau, two grandchildren, Trina and Michael Davis and two great grandchildren. Joan is further survived by four nieces and two nephews who loved her greatly. Joan was always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed her. She will be missed by many friends and neighbors who found her to be a very kind and gentle lady. A gathering in Joanie's memory will be held in the private room at McMahons, 5432 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn, on Sunday, October 12, 2003 from 2-5 p.m. Friends and neighbors are invited to attend.
