Jerome J. Guillaume, 84, Wausau, died Monday, April 24, 2017 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. Jerome was born September 18, 1932 to the late William and Helen (Springer) Guillaume in the town of Emmet. He married Lois Schmidt on April 14, 1956 in Hudson WI. Jerome served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He was also a member of the Wausau Emergency Police and for many years a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Wausau. Jerome was employed with Kraft Foods until retiring after 32 years. Survivors include his wife, Lois; two sons, Chris Guillaume and Leigh (Debbie) Guillaume; two granddaughters, Kayleigh and Ashleigh; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Guillaume; five brothers, Wilfred, Ralph, Eugene, Willmer and Donald; and one sister, Margaret. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. Rev. Sue Lee will officiate. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of North Central Health Care and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services for their compassionate care and kindness shown to Jerome and his family.
